Laura Clewett is an MFA Candidate in Creative Nonfiction and a Graduate Instructor for UK's Department of Writing, Rhetoric & Digital Studies. She has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Chicago and a Master of Social Work from the University of Kentucky. As a social worker, she specialized in working with seniors and people with disabilities. She is a former managing editor of State News magazine (now Capitol Ideas), published by The Council of State Governments.
