I have been studying Latin on my own since 2010 and have participated in the Conventiculum Latinum at UK since 2011. I am passionate about classics and it is my desire to pass this passion on to my own son, Marcus Augustus, as well as eventually teaching in public or private school. I am currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Latin with an eye towards a master's degree in the future.

My undergraduate degree is in mathematics and computer information systems and for the past 22 years I have been employed in the IT field and have been involved in everything from designing and building applications to management.

I am truly honored to be studying at the University of Kentucky's classics department.
