Taylor Wright

Well, hey there!

My name is Taylor Wright. I am a junior from Kettering, Ohio. My major is Psychology with minors in Criminology and Spanish.

I have a wide variety of interests, including crocheting, drawing, singing poorly, and playing lacrosse. I have a passion for helping people, and as such I have been an assistant coach for a Special Olympics team in my hometown.

I love Wired because it facilitated the development of several close friendships I have, simply by placing me in close proximity to people with more in common with me than I would have ever imagined. I love the way Wired brings students together. I love the way Wired allows students' similarities and differences to shine.

I wanted to become a peer mentor because I want to assist other students in networking, making friends, learning about the school, learning about themselves, and ultimately enjoying the college experience.

Advice I have for freshman are these two tidbits: take it one day at a time, and let life happen.

Random fun fact: I am ambidexterous, so I can write with both hands. The most impressive part is I can write with both hands at the same time.
