Erin Shoot works at the University of Kentucky's Graduate School where she spends her days writing very technical sorts of things.  This allows her free time to be spent in right-brain-land.

Why have I cut myself into thirds?  I'll stop.

I have an undergraduate degree in Architecture but throughout my schooling I found myself taking a whack-a-do route--telling tales of buildings with sinister courtyards or basing designs on Neil Gaiman's London Below.  I find myself often in worlds a half-step off of reality; it is where I feel most at home.  I look forward to throwing soirees in these worlds.
