Neurobehavioral mechanisms of learning, memory, and decision-making processes
Research

Generally, our lab is focused on understanding learning, memory, and decision-making processes. Combining sophisticated behavioral measures, modern neuroscience techniques, and quantitative modeling we are investigating the neurobehavioral mechanisms that underlie vulnerability to and recovery from reward-associated pathologies, including the neurobehavioral changes that occur during their development. Our goal is to identify novel mechanisms involved specifically in pathological reward-governed behavior that may then be targeted toward the development of more effective therapies.
