Tetris Tournament

All Enrolled UK Students are eligible to play for prizes in the Spring Tetris Tournament

Shortly following the documentary screening, The College of Arts & Sciences will be holding a follow up to last Fall’s Tetris Tournament. Come defend your high score,or perhaps become UK’s newly reigning Tetris champion? Prizes will be awarded for the top three contenders. Refreshments will be provided to all participants. This competition is only open to currently enrolled UK students.

Lecture: "When Will the Real Day Come? Soviet World War II Films, 1945-1985"

Denise J. Youngblood is Professor of Russian History at the University of Vermont. She is a specialist in the history of Russian and Soviet cinema, about which she has written six books and numerous articles. Her most recent books are "Russian War Films: On the Cinema Front, 1914-2005" (2007) and "Cinematic Cold War: The American and Soviet Struggle for Hearts and Minds" (2010).
